It's Labour Day tomorrow... hooray... But I don't really sound happy coz I just practiced my piano like nuts... Practiced it before and after dinner. Played till I'm sweating, and my arm muscles are getting sore. sigh...

Marriage D'Amour... that's the song I'm trying to perfect. Stupid octaves, I keep missing the notes and it wound cound HORRIBLE. *stretches arms* I took a video of Valerie playing that song last year using the piano at my house...

Oh boy...

After school today, I stopped by at Tanglin Mall and bought the latest Simple Plan album (including the bonus tracks) before crossing the street to my house... Listening to it now... hmm... it's okay... not as bad as the other old songs. Just came back from my orthodontist's office. I just got my elastics for my braces...

At least my elastics aren't THAT obvious when I talk... They're only visibile when I LAUGH OUT LOUD (which I'm trying to avoid now). So now I gotta use the elastics 23 hours a day... minimum...

Mr Patrick Ng seemed to be in a bad mood... he made JX cry... pity her... It's not that we don't wana study. It's that we CAN'T. Hello, you're not the only teacher that gives us homework, and we're not only having MATH exams papers ONLY. We have our other subjects. We gotta revise for them too right? And the next 2 papers are Social Studies and Biology. They come first, so we'll revise for them first...

Funfair Day

It was the funfair today... Well, it was okay... I didn't get to go to the Haunted House, coz when I saw the queue, I just gave up. Man...

The performance was alright. MArie and I were practically gagging like crap before the show. Hahaha... I ended up singing Always and Forever on stage too -__- Sigh... well, it was alright anyway.

Then we had to do introductions... which were all pushed to me -__- like, wth man. But the performance was great. It went well. We were praying in the band room before we went out. Which reminded me of the prayer from School of Rock. Something that goes like,"God of Rock, please give us the power and strength, to kick ass..." something like that. Wahahaha... We were laughing.

When it came to Keep Holding On, alot of people said stuff like,"GO MARIE! ROCK ON! YOU CAN DO IT MARIE!" Yeah, and she was giving the shocked look. Hahaha... And I had to stand there... feeling so out... nvm...

Left at 1.30pm. Didn't bother watching the cheerleading competition. Hehehe... Managed to make it to Remaja. Then went to UE Square with them to study. I brought my Chem textbook to read bout chap 8 before my teacher goes through with it in school. And I did that quite fast. Then I was pretty bored... watched the guys play some soccer...

Quite interesting, Feb fractured his toe. So when I Started kicking the ball and some of the others were surrounding him, Ko Jetan was like,"eh! handicap handicap! Careful!" Lol... then they backed away abit. I was like,"waah... injured, and you've got first priority". Lol...

Hmm, I took very few pics. No videos of me performing. I hope I don't see one either. BLEAGH.

Oh yeah, NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY!! MWAHAHAHAHAHA XD SUCKERS!! LOL!! Coz my school made this funfair day a COMPULSORY school day, so they're giving us Monday off :P MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

AAAHHH!!! LAST MINUTE CHANGES!! OMG!!

We had to perform on stage in front of some fellow students just now. To prepare for tomorrow... Ms Wong didn't look happy near the end of it :( Mr Ng Guo Hui looked pretty stressed too... sigh...

First, we sang Accidentally In Love. Well, the mic does wonders I can tell you. And not all of it is good. Since the speakers were turned away from us, we couldn't really hear how we sounded like. So I just depended on my own voice vibrations (I hope you know what I'm talkin bout). Anyhow, it was creepy. And after that song, I was sweating already -__- And we've cut down some songs out of the list.

2. Always and Forever (Nat, Phibs, with me singing second voice on the floor so that no one will know)
3. Freedom (Phibs, Joyce, Mona)

I realise that I'm good at second vocals now... like, I can listen to a song, then I can figure them out myself. Like what I did for Always and Forever... Cool... Well, gotta practice You and Me. And.... umm... yeah... that's it I guess... Total, I'm singing 3 songs, and another song would be in private... Wow... I'm singing in a majority of em... nvm...

2 Days

The school funfair is in 2 days... omg... There's gonna be food, games, haunted house, cheerleading competition, and a performance by Alpha Life... goodness...

And Pearline was making me feel constipated just now doing practice. Then I tried doing that electric guitar stunt where the person skids arcoss the floor on his/her knees. I tried that... skidded about 10cm before skin was ripped off my knee -__- SIGH...

A wound before the funfair... GREAT...

But it didn't bleed... good enough... so I just gotta conceal it with dust. Wahahaha...

Hmm... Would be performing at 11.45am. Till around... 12.30 I guess... That means I can make it for Remaja!! WOOOO!! ^^ SO HAPPY! Wahahaha... then I can go to UE Square with them to study... then I ask people about LOGARITHMS! man... I hate that topic...

ROS/Studying

Well, using Safari now to post this... I wonder how I have Safari in my laptop 0.o Anyhow, the school funfair is just 4 days away! Goodness... Alpha Life is borrowing the band room tomorrow to rehearse for Saturday. This is gonna be a major jamming session. Problem is, Pearline (drummer) is gonna have HMT till around 5pm -___- OH BOY... SIGH... No drums, no rhythm... unless the keyboards and guitar are in good rhythm, then we can sing. Phibs is IN TOO!! WHEEE!! She's gonna be singing Freedom with Joyce I think... and she'll take over Always and Forever :)

Yesterday, I went to the Reformed Oratorio Society (ROS) practice at North Bridge Centre. Hmm... the conductor told us GRIIS Choir people to go there to practice this song. But we didn't. Instead, we had to sing along with the ROS. So yeah... the songs were hard, but I managed to learn them fast enough. Good news is, the choir members who showed up yesterday get to sing with ROS this Sunday!! WOOO!! Even though we just learnt the song. Hahahaha... Well, anyhow, was helping Michelle with her history.

She was supposed to write this report or sth... like, in court... then she's supposed to be the person to read out all the evidence, to describe the whole case, and to conclude whether the person would go to prison or not. Or something like that... Anyhow, it was about Stalin's involvement in Kirov's murder.

There were a few evidences provided. So I was helping her interpret them :) Hehe... It sounds like a fun project ya know... but, I'm taking Elective History... I don't think Ms Vino would go through that small part in the textbook.

ANYHOW, (I know this is the 4th time I'm sayin that word), I'm trying this pimple cream... called Retin-A. And it's really creepy. Well, it kinda dries up the skin there. So my skin is kinda peeling -__- But I've only used it for only 3 days, and it's improving alot already... eee... They say that women shouldn't use it... Something to do with deformed babies O.O

Well, gonna start studying like a good student from now onwards. Of course, I'd pamper myself on weekends with LOADS of Eye Shield 21 anime. Mwahahahaha... Duane told me to read the manga, well I'm sorry. I don't wanna waste my money on the manga. There are like... more than 100 episodes in the anime already. And I've only watched till ep 41... Chris and Stephen have watched till ep 93... omg... SO FAR TO GO... so much more to catch up with. Gaaahhh...

Pissed Off

I dunno why I feel so... umm... quiet right now... Like, I don't really feel like opening my mouth at all. I just wanna keep it shut... Probably since I feel like exploding. I don't even know why I'm getting so worked up over this... SIGH...

Months ago, or more like LAST YEAR, I told my parents that I don't wanna go overseas at all for this year and next year. I wanna stay in Singapore and attend any lessons I have in school. Well, GUESS WHAT, I'm leaving overseas on the 15th of May, back on the 1st of June. Leaving again on the 6th, back on the 13th or 14th. Then off again on the 19th, back on the 23rd or 22nd.

In the process, I would miss 7 days worth of math lessons. Many Bio and Chem lessons. No more Lit too, no social studies, no history either. Dammit. WORSE is, I'm nnot out of the SPLAT! Drama competition coz I'd be missing loads of rehearsals too. I'd also the extra Bio lessons during the hols. And I'd miss the english and Chinese oral exams... SIGH...

I NEVER wanted to go overseas this year. Well, I don't mind leaving for weddings or my siblings' graduations. BUT, I don't wanna skip school JUST for vacations -___-

That's like, the "wrongest" attitude I can have for this year. (I know the grammer is really wrong). Anyhow, I was telling my chinese tuition teacher about it... and I just suddenly broke down... for no reason... I have no idea why either...

She started telling me that holidays could be fun. And I might find USA there even though I've gone there so many times. I shook my head at what she said. Then she gave a nervous laugh, and said that Toronto should be fun since I said that I wanted to see the Niagra Falls. I shook my head again.

Yes, it WOULD be fun. But it won't be fun at the thought of me skipping so many lessons, missing so much knowledge, and gonna be behind everyone when school starts.

Also, (dammit... I suddenly forgot what I was gonna write.... thinks awhile) my mum tells me that she wants me to get into ACJC. No thanks... snobby guys there... bleagh. I wanna go SAJC... Been wanting to go there for a long time. And my mum wants to use DSA to get me into ACJC (using my drama). You tell me, how can I apply for that if I don't do anything for Drama? That's why I really wanna be in SPLAT!. I wanna have something to write about in the form if I apply for a school...

Apparently, she just doesn't see it. GGGAAAAHHH, I wish I can just come back from NY myself after my sister's graduation... sigh...

Alpha Life

Wooo!! Joyce and Nat finally managed to successfully drag me into Alpha Life (their band) -___- They've been trying to do that since last year. SIGH. So I guess I'll just be a temporary member, since I can't go rehearse with them that often.

ANYHOW, we're gonna jam up the school funfair next Saturday. We'll be performing the following songs:
1. Accidentally In Love (Counting Crows)
2. Keep Holding On (Avril Lavigne)
3. Always and Forever (Planet Shakers)
4. Freedom (composed by Joyce herself!!)

They're trying to think of a few more songs to perform. So we're considering:
1. Tell The World (Hillsong United)
2. All Star (Smashmouth)
and some other stuff I guess...

I tried singing along to All Star just now using my laptop. And I nearly lost my voice. Coz some parts of the song are SO low for a girl -___- I couldn't reach it. Well, I KINDA could, but then my voice would end up in a whisper kind of thing. So better not take the chance. I'm gonna tell them tmrw not to even consider it man. I can't do it!!

We've got drums (Pearline), keyboards (Yi Jun), electric guitar (Joyce). Vocals: Nat, Marie (for one of em I think), and me now. They're looking for a bassist. I think they've got one already, but no bass guitar. Hahaha... Zong offered to sell his so that he could get a new one. Wahahaha... it was a joke btw.

Hmm... Gonna rehearse this Thursday at Pearline's house I think. It's really near school. So I don't think my mum would mind.

Theresian Award's Day

FINALLY! IT'S OVER!!

Theresian Awards Day. :) I walked up, got my award, with my full name and picture flashed up there on the screen for all to see, got off, walked to the AV room, and waited till it was my turn to control the lighting for the ELDDS performance.

I waited outside the auditorium for awhile and took some pictures of them :D hahaha... There was a "teacher", a "principal", some "girl student writing in her secret diary", someone from the Sing To The Dawn cast, some girl "who is really excited about the new school", some "annoyed student talking to her mother", ,a girl "talking to her friend Lucy on the phone about EFL camp", and a "hockey girl from 1993". All this was done to portray the history of our school. Some memorable ones.

I took pictures of the ceremony :D and my certificate too! It came with a book voucher for Borders. Haha... I removed it so you can have the full view of the cert.

Maybe my standard is so high because I'm used to singing Sacred Choral Works by people like Bach, Handel, and Mendhelsohn. Hahaha...

Rehearsals

I haven't been posting lately... I KNOW... Nothing much happening. But I guess the inspiration just CAME TO ME today. Hahaha... Okay... Enough with the delay.

NUMBER ONE THING!!
I've been chosen as a character for the play prepared for the SPLAT! competition in June. My character is called Jasmine. She's this female "gang-leader"'s good friend. So yeah... I got chosen. ANYHOW, the confirmed date is not known yet. Somewhere between the 2nd till the 15th of June. PROBLEM IS, I would be in indonesia during 6-8th. And I won't be here from the 12th of June onwards. AND, I'll be missing ALOT of rehearsals coz I'd be in Canada from the 15th of May till the 1st of June. Yeah yeah, I'll be skipping LOTS of school, LOTS of lessons -___-

NUMBER TWO THING!!
I have Theresian Awards Day tomorrow. And I'm an award recipient coz I scored top in the whole Sec 2 lvl for Visual Arts last year. I didn't even know that O.O ANYHOW, I also need to do the lighting effects (again) for my CCA's (ELDDS) short performance featuring the history of my school. So just now, I only reached home at around... 7.45pm... BLEAGH. Tired. Sigh... Ate my dinner and did my homework at the same time. The ceremony ends at after 8pm tomorrow night I think. Not so sure about it.

Well, this is the post. Be glad that I posted. Be glad that I'm stopping now. Be glad that you'll only see another one in a few days. Ta-ta

We Will Rock You

Last night, at Esplanade, I watched the We Will Rock You: Rock Theatrical :D IT WAS BLOODY AWESOME!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's like, the people who went to watch the show were like, aroudn my parents' ages. And a HUGE majority were americans, westerns, or europeans. So I was basically surrounded by tall people. Sharley came with me to the show. It was FREAKIN AWESOME. I was sitting in circle 3, so it was pretty high, but I had the benifits of really powerful binoculars. So I could zoom right up to their faces.

It was really cool. And the main character, Galileo, man, his eyes are FREAKIN green. Never seen those kind before. And the best thing is, nothing in this show is recorded. So it's all LIVE. With the band behind (not Queen itself of course). The electric guitarist came out awhile to do this short solo. And it was rockin man!!

And we were swaying our hands along, clapping, screaming, cheering, shouting, singing along... Man, I nearly lost my voice. Hahahaha...

At the last part, words came onto the screen: Do you want Bohemian Rhapsody?
I think I was the first one to start cheering before the others followed. We were all screaming. Then the words said: Oh, alright then...
Then the spot light came onto Galileo. And man, it was SO COOL!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Hmm, Jos just sent me the original version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Cool...

Identity

Great. I got some "amazing" news today as I was about to register for my IC (since I'm 15 already). The person was typing in my information when she found out I couldn't print it. And since I didn't have my original birth cert with me, they went to the back to check it out. Then the person in charge said sth about my NRIC numbers not matching. I took a look, and she was right. The numbers on my Birth Certificate does not match the ones on my Green Card, or my Student Pass... So, it should be the same with the other stuff that has my NRIC number on it. Including my Blue File (some MOE thing).

So yeah, and since the last day to register for my IC is the 2nd of April, the person in charge is gonna extend it, until they find everything wrong with my NRIC number. Then they'll fix stuff all the way from there, all the way from the SMALLEST thing until the most important one. There's a possibility that I might only get my IC next year -____- WTH

When I got home, my mum ran to look for the Health Booklet. Coz it came from the hospital, along with my Birth Cert. So it shoudl be the same as the berth cert thing right? Well, we saw the FIRST mistake from there. Dunno what careless nurse or doctor did that BLOODY STUPID MISTAKE THAT IS CAUSING MY IDENTITY TROUBLE NOW. At the front of the book, they would write your name and stuff. And your NRIC number below it. (written by my mum btw. Coz she went ACCORDING to the BIRTH CERT). Somehow, I also dunno why, but the info was pasted over by a sticker. But the NRIC at the bottom wasn't covered. That was when my mum and I burst into screams of laughter. With the original number at the bottom, we compared the number on the sticker. And the one on the sticker is the one I'm using now. Hahahahaha XD

So apparently, the mistake began from the hospital itself. Not from the immigration thing when I was applying for PR. Hahahaha... Well, I guess now I've just gotta wait then... wait for that phone call to tell me to go down there again to get my CORRECT stuff.

22nd of March '08

On Saturday, I invited some people over to my house to celebrate my birthday :) I haven't eaten my own birthday cake for years!! Haha. So yeah, finally got a chocolate one :D WOOOO!!!

We had that mini party downstairs by the kids pool (coz this couple were sitting at my usual party place by the adults pool... man...) It was pretty weird at first, coz 1 group was from my school, another group from church. So yeah. In the end, they saw that I was kinda pissed that the whole gathering turned out to be a DISASTER and a FAILURE >< BUT THEN. they were such kind souls, and YX suggested they introduce each other's names. Haha...

It was funny to me. So I said,"you know what this looks like? It looks like this is Gang A, and this' Gang B. You guys are gonna make nice and I'm like, the middleman. Haha" Then they laughed. So they introduced each other's names. Yeah...

It was pretty crazy when we played "Dare-and-Dare". Stephen was dared to drink the pool water where we just dipped our stinky feet in. HAHAHAHAHA!! XD OMG! SO FUNNY! Then I was dared to do something. Which I eventually did TWICE. Coz they didn't see it the first time. Haiyoh -____-

My Big Day

WOOOO!!! I'm 15!! :D Lalala... Another year older, and another year wiser! Keith and Yu Jia came over just now to meet up :) Shared presents. Hmm, had a long conversation about how we were doing recently. Then we took some pictures before they had to go.

I miss the 18 Marches. We would ALWAYS hang out with each other. The 3 of us :) They were good old days. And I was showing Yu Jia of all the videos I took of our class... And she was laughing so hard till she was sweating (weird eh). Hahaha...

It's a good day :) Well, minus off the fact that I'm sick though. Lol... Thanks to all for the birthday wishes :D I did have a happy birthday. Hahaha...

Physics Joke

I got this joke from Anita from church. She just recently got married. And her husband used to be my grandmother's tuition kid. Hahaha XD And at that time, I was still in kindergarten, and I'd sit in that little car and go round and round the table. Hahaha... Good ol days... Sad my grandmother didn't get to see any weddings of her grand children...

I don't even have any grandparents left. NONE I TELL YOU. So those of you out there who have grandparents, APPRECIATE THEIR PRESENCE.

Once all the scientists die and go to heaven. They decide to play hide-n-seek.

Unfortunately Einstein is the one who has the den. He is supposed to count up to 100...and then start searching.....

Everyone starts hiding except Newton...
Newton just draws a square of 1 meter and stands in it right in front of Einstein.

Einstein's counting 1,2,3......97,98,99.....100........ He opens his eyes and finds Newton standing in front.

Einstein says "newton's out..newton's out....."

Newton denies and says "I am not out........I am not Newton......"

All the scientists come out to see how he proves that he is not Newton.

Newton says "I am standing in a square of area 1m squared.....
That makes me Newton per meter squared......
since one Newton per meter squared is one Pascal, I'm Pascal. Therefore Pascal is OUT!"

At Home

I'm sitting here... at home... Looking for songs by Robbie Williams. He was a good singer and he still is. Well, not everyone knows him now. Sigh... Anyhow, I'm still sick. I was trying to speak this morning but it seems like I lost my voice. Oh no... And it sounds hoarse now. GGAAAHHHH!! How am I supposed to sing? Sigh...

Man, my voice sounds so sexy right now... LOL!! Hahahahahaha.... XD Okay, nevermind that. Just going kinda crazy.
